How this started
I'm Ford. A few years back I was given a 3D printer, taught myself to design from scratch, and went looking for something worth making. I found it a few miles from my house: the mosaic on First Baptist Church I'd been looking up at my whole life. That ornament became Fanciful Designs' first piece. Friends and family wanted their own, then their friends did — and the line has grown one beloved Alabama landmark at a time.
What that means for you
Every piece here is a way to keep a place you love. Locals hang them on the tree. Homesick Alabamians mail them out of state. Travelers take home the thing they actually pointed at out the car window.
